Service Features

In a typical scenario, BizPro’s local consultant initially performs a process and feasibility analysis of the task to be outsourced. Detailing the service concept, as well as an initial ROI calculation are also tasks performed by the local consultant in this initiation phase.

Prerequisite for the data cleansing, data transformation and data integration services is the existence of a common, data staging relational database, where the existing data from potentially different data sources is imported. The data cleansing service checks and validates the data in the data staging database according to previously defined logical rules that govern the data. The data transformation service rearranges the imported and cleansed data into different data structures (with possible generation of additional information like summary values, specific business indicators and similar tasks) that correspond to the requirements of the data warehouse or data mart. The data integration service loads the transformed data into the data warehouse or data mart.

The services are performed by data warehouse experts remotely from the near-shore or offshore entities using either proprietary tools, or in specific cases, using the tools already existing with the customer.

The pilot implementations of data modelling trials, hypothesis testing, sample analytics and sample report generation are also performed remotely by modelling experts in the near-shore or offshore entities. Here again the tools used are either proprietary or ones which already exist with the customer.
